The Indian picture books that we never had as children

When we were growing up as Indian middle class children, we didn’t have access to beautiful picture books like in US, UK, etc. It was either imported stuff or stuff from mythology, folk-tales, or religion. How many versions of The Thirsty Crow should our children have to read? Ms Moochie Books is a publishing house that publishes contemporary Indian children’s books. Join their mission!

The Kahanipuram Trust

The Kahanipuram Trust is a Chennai based non-profit that works with things that have to do with stories and storytelling – in publishing, education, training, events, content creation, etc, etc. We’re currently helping Ms Moochie Books raise funds to create a set of 10 amazing picture books for 3-5 yr olds.
